>Like NATURE does it!
ENA HRi nano-hybrid composite produces incredibly natural looking composite restorations. Only ENA HRi matches a natural tooth's optical properties to produce invisible restorations with invisible margins. Conceived and developed by the renowned Dr. Lorenzo Vanini, it is now used by leading clinicians world-wide and is the ultimate choice for the discriminating clinician.
ENA HRi was developed in Italy by Micerium S.p.A. based on the ideas, research and principles of Dr. Lorenzo Vanini.
The ENA HRi difference!
The key to ENA HRi esthetics is an exclusive patented enamel composite material. ENA HRi enamel composite refracts light like human enamel. This development creates invisible margins without the need to compensate by increasing bevels and increasing the thickness of dentin composite.
ENA HRi is the only composite material that has the same refractive index as natural enamel.

The ENAMEL ONLY Technique:
Restored with only 1 HRi enamel shade

ENA HRi Enamel is ideal as for all restorations that require replacement of only the enamel layer of the patient's tooth structure. The ENA HRi enamel system uses a simplified value-based shading system that mimics natural enamel, which is achromatic (has no hue/colour) and varies only in value.
- UE1 - low value (darker)
- UE2 - medium value
- UE3 - high value (brighter)
The BASIC Technique:
Restored with only 1 HRi enamel & 1 HRi dentin shade

In addition to the three enamel shades of HRi, there are nine universal dentin shades available, making ENA HRi a complete restorative system. Because of HRi's unique optical properties, by using only one to two dentin shades and one enamel shade, you can achieve highly esthetic results in anterior and posterior restorations.
The MASTER Technique:
Restored with additional shades for opalescence, intensive and characterization

The HRi complete system comes with the additional intensives and modifiers needed to achieve ideal results in the most esthetically challenging cases and when esthetics are essential. Three white intensives and two opalescent modifiers provide the clinician with a complete armamentarium, yet maintain the overall focus on simplicity that is evident in the ENA HRi concept.
ENA HRi enamel - Just like human enamel...
A thicker enamel increases the opalescent effect
Just like human enamel, thicker layers of ENA HRi increase in opalescence. This allows you to restore missing enamel by simply replacing it with an equal amount of ENA HRi - with no visible margins, no need for significant bevels, and no graying effect.
Only 3 Shades of Enamel
The ENA HRi system contains only 3 enamel shades, and these are related to the patient's age group. Young enamel is very bright [high value]. As patients approach middle age, this value decreases. The process continues as patients reach their senior years.

ENA HRi dentin - Just like human dentin...
ENA HRi has a fluorescent dentin
ENA HRi dentin shades are highly fluorescent and designed to work with ENA HRi enamel shades for desired results. One or two dentin shades are all that is needed to get the results seen in these pages. In nature, the dentin mass transmits its hue and chroma through an enamel mass, which completely surrounds the underlying dentin. This is exactly how a tooth is restored with ENA HRi.
Why traditional techniques don't work
If you are frustrated with spending precious time to produce a high level esthetic composite restoration, only to be disappointed in the result, it's not your fault. With traditional layering techniques, it's a hit-or-miss process.
Popular enamel composites produce a graying effect as they are applied in thicker layers, because their refraction index is not tuned to human enamel. The only way they achieve results is through a complicated and unpredictable layering technique. Even if successful under certain lighting conditions, these restorations are subject to metameric failure.
