Do you find
#2 sensors hard to place and uncomfortable?
•
Have digital
sensor and phosphor plate images
lacked in diagnostic ability?
•
Are phosphor
plates too cumbersome, time-consuming
and prone to scratches?
•
Are you concerned
about the high cost of sensor replacement
due to defective cables?
•
Would you like
to replace film and chemistry with
a digital alternative?
•
Have you been
waiting for a complete platform
for all your digital equipment?
Gray Falcon
Universal: high resolution universal
intraoral sensor
Synca presents Gray Falcon Universal
– the current state-of-the-art
direct digital
x-ray sensor. A more comfortable sensor
size, true > 20 lp/mm resolution,
reduced exposure time, less image noise,
quality design and quality construction
all contribute to a more rewarding digital
x-ray experience.
The Peregrine
Falcon (Gray Falcon):
“These magnificent
birds are hunters of open country
and are most famous for their unbeliEvable
speed and agility in flight. Their
eyesight is up to 6 times sharper
than a human. They can even catch
prey during dawn and dusk when there
is very little light.”
Universal 1.5
Sensor Size - Universal Applications and
Comfort
The 816 mm2 active area easily
captures horizontal and vertical bite-wings,
horizontal and vertical periapical x-rays,
in both anterior and posterior applications.
The 1.5 Universal sensor is easy and fast
to place, and there is no need to switch
between #1 and #2 sensors during a full
mouth series. 1.5 is an ideal size for
endodontic applications.
An optional 1.0 Mini sensor size with
600 mm2 is available for pedo
and special situations.
Experience
– Design and Quality
Gray Falcon Universal incorporates years
of worldwide experience and leadership
in digital x-ray technology. The design
employs innovative industrial processes
to make it extremely robust, water-resistant,
user-friendly, comfortable and flexible
for everyday use.
Instant
results – faster, fewer steps
Save valuable time in your practice with
a comfortable, instant digital x-ray system.
Gray Falcon Universal requires up to 7
times less steps to take an x-rays compared
to a phosphor plate system. Even in high-resolution
mode, x-rays appear on screen in about
5 seconds.
Fiber
optic plate and cesium iodide
scintillator offer the straightest
light transmission to the
CCD chip, with little diffusion.
Intra-oral phosphor plate
images generally resolve
images in a maximum range
of only 7-8 lp/mm.
True > 20 lp/mm
Resolution for Exceptional Diagnostics
GFU incorporates the latest in digital
technologies to provide exceptionally
high resolution and diagnostics. Cesium
iodide scintillation preserves an exceptionally
fine spatial resolution that is present
in the x-ray pattern. Images are captured
by a high-grade CCD chip. You will immediately
notice the smooth look of GFU images.
View x-rays full-screen or crop specific
areas of an image without pixilation.
Resolution: >
20 lp/mm; theoretical resolution of the
CCD matrix: 26.3 lp/mm
Less Radiation
Gray
Falcon Universal will capture excellent
x-rays with fraction of the radiation
of film, phosphor plate systems,
and even many sensor systems. Gray
Falcon Universal will fully benefit
from the latest technology in modern
x-ray sources, with exposures as
low as .04-.06 seconds. Exposure
correction and an exposure meter
are incorporated into the CADI® -
x-ray module to provide perfect
images.
