Because of their innovative centerless rubber mandrel collar, Fini™ polishing disks provide an unequalled polish without the gouging and discoloration produced by other disk systems. The Fini™ disk is made from an abrasive coated vinyl material and it provides a number of benefits over disks with metal and plastic centers. Besides eliminating gouging, the centerless disk provides greater access, as the need to severely angle the disk to keep the metal/plastic away from the restoration is eliminated. Having no center further increases the usable surface area of each disk, making finishing and polishing procedures quicker. In addition, the rubber mandrel collar on each Fini™ disk protects incisal edges when polishing lingual surfaces.

Fini™ disks are thin and flexible. They are available in 5/16" and 1/2" diameters and are supplied in 4 grits: coarse, medium, fine and extra-fine. You have 9 different disks to choose from.

The coarse and medium grits are made from silicone carbide. They cut composite materials fast while leaving a moderately smooth surface. The fine and extra-fine disks contain micrograined aluminum oxide grit, which produces a smooth and bright finish. To provide you with a better handling, the coarse and medium disks are less flexible and conform to the contour of the tooth with light pressure. This easy flexing is ideal for interproximal and marginal areas.

The Fini™ Polishing Disk System is indicated for contouring, finishing and final polishing of all composite and light-cured resin restortations. The Fini™ Polishing Disk System is an ideal complement to Pentron® Clinical Technologies's composites like Simile™, Alert® and Flow-It!® ALC.
